Me at twilight enchanted by the desert...

 my tale

"I began my self-taught adventure into metalsmithing in 1988. Each piece is solely and passionately hand-fabricated by myself in my California Mojave Desert studio 30 miles east of Joshua Tree in Wonder Valley.                                                                                                             In my work, I am inspired by previous eras, especially, the Art Nouveau, the Medieval and Byzantine. I, am also inspired by spirituality, nature & other cultures.
I adore the singularity, variation & grace found in nature, along with the look of items enhanced by time.  I love the character that texturing and patinating brings to metal.  I carry these inspiring elements into my work.
I hand-fabricate mixed-metals 14kt gold, rose gold-fill, gold-fill, sterling and brass pieces to be used in my designs. I set my works with precious and non-precious stones, pearls, and rare vintage cabochons.
I have a great appreciation for little details and the old-fashioned way of making things. In my work, you will definitely find an attention to detail.
I have been selling my work consistently, since 1989, through arts festivals, galleries and boutiques throughout the US
